Ai in the Workplace Graduate Certificate

The Ai in the Workplace Graduate Certificate is an online graduate certificate that helps students use AI tools to write quickly and effectively, communicate strategically, and design for workplace needs. Students study ethics of AI, workplace-focused AI applications, and AI options across writing, design, and communication, with the option to choose an emphasis and complete an AI project.

The program requires 9 credit hours. It has a course length of 8 weeks and an estimated program length of 9 months. Students take one required course in ethics and select two additional courses from the available options. Courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher, and all nine credit hours must be completed at UWF with prerequisites met to enroll.

• COM 5385 - AI for Strategic Communication

To be considered for admission to the University of West Florida’s online AI in the Workplace Graduate Certificate program, you must be admitted to the University as a graduate non-degree seeking student.

Once accepted as a graduate non-degree seeking student, you should contact the English department regarding course availability and scheduling. You will also need to complete the online Graduate Certificate Declaration Form on MyUWF.

The AI in the Workplace Online Graduate Certificate requires completion of the following courses with a grade of “C” or higher. All nine credit hours must be completed at UWF with prerequisites met to enroll in these courses.
