The Computer Forensics Graduate Certificate prepares students for high demand information technology roles, including computer and digital forensics analysts. It focuses on incident response and forensic analysis of digital evidence in cases involving network and wireless-based communication and cyberattacks.
The certificate is offered in a hybrid format with online and in-person courses. Students complete five required courses: Information Technology Infrastructure; Systems Development Process; Computer & Network Forensics and Incident Response; Mobile Device Forensics; and Case Studies in Computer Forensics.
The program is intended for students with a bachelor’s degree in a computing-related field who want advanced study. It may also interest students who work in information technology and need additional academic background, or students with a bachelor’s degree in another discipline who want preparation for careers in this field.
