The Graduate Certificate for Dual Credit Teaching in U.S. History at St. Mary’s University is designed for instructors who already have a master’s degree in another area and want credentialing to teach Dual Credit U.S. History courses. Courses are completed asynchronously online. The certificate is expected to take an average of 12 months, with flexible options available to complete it on a 2-year timeline. The certificate program may also allow completed credit hours to be applied toward a Master of Arts in Public History.
Interested applicants must complete the online application and upload a copy of the highest degree-granting transcript (bachelor’s or master’s). The GRE/GMAT is not required for admission to this certificate program.
