Master of Education Educational Leadership

The Master of Education in Educational Leadership at the University of Mount Olive is delivered 100% online. It is designed for students who already hold a baccalaureate license to gain master licensure and develop educator leadership abilities, aligned to the North Carolina Standards for School Executives.

The 33-hour online program includes courses in educational leadership, human resources and finance, technology, curriculum and instruction, and law and ethics. It is followed by two, 14 week internships under the direction of a mentor and a university supervisor.

Admission Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. or international institution
• Official transcripts showing conferral of a 4-year bachelor’s equivalent degree are required from degree-granting institutions other than the University of Mount Olive
• 3.0 GPA
• Four years as a licensed professional edu

• Principal/Assistant Principal licensure
• Employment for school administrative roles including Principal/Assistant Principal
