The Troy University Chapter of the Alabama Society of Professional Land Surveyors (ASPLS) is a student-led group for geomatics students. Its purpose is to promote the welfare and excellence of the ASPLS and to support a mutually beneficial relationship between the chapter, the ASPLS, and Troy University.
Students build experience through leadership and service activities, including fund raisers for department projects, hosting representatives, and coordinating meals for interested students. The chapter also supports departmental recruiting events such as Trojan Day and Geo Day, and it holds activities like an annual shrimp boil tailgate and a senior dinner.
