Bachelor of Science in Public Health

The Bachelor of Science in Public Health at the University of Lusaka is a four-year full-time program that prepares students to promote community health through disease prevention, health promotion, and evidence-based decisions. It starts with a six-month foundation in mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics to develop scientific skills. The first year also introduces general public health topics including epidemiology, biostatistics, health systems, and health promotion. In later years, students specialize in areas like environmental health, occupational health, nutrition, and population studies. They also complete a six-month research project focused on public health challenges relevant to Zambia and the region. The course is licensed by the Health Professions Council of Zambia and requires student registration for professional indexing.

• Five "O" Levels graded Credit or better in Mathematics, English, Biology, Science (Chemistry & Physics), and any other subject
