Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Human Resource Management

The Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Human Resource Management at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University prepares students for work in human resource management through modules across finance, ethics, economics, business communication, principles of management, and human resources. Students study Industrial Relations, Talent Management, Reward Management, Training and Development, Organisational Behaviour, Human Resources Policy and Practice, Labour Law, and Public Sector Human Resources Management. In Year 4, they complete Human Resources Development, HR Analytics, HR Information Systems, Research Project, Strategic Human Resource Management, and Leadership and Ethics.

The degree is organised into Year 1 through Year 4 with semester-by-semester modules. Work Related Learning takes place across both semesters in Year 3, with a Student Report, an Academic Supervisor’s Report, and an Employer’s Report. In Year 4, students complete a Research Project in both semesters. The programme includes modules on Business Information Systems, Business Research Methods, Corporate Governance, Strategic Management, and Change Management.
