Bachelor of Science Honours in Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship Bschab

The Bachelor of Science Honours in Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship (BSCHAB) at Zimbabwe Open University develops knowledge and skills in agribusiness management, including applying management knowledge in the agro-industry, promoting novel agribusiness management practices, and designing systems for efficient and profitable agribusiness performance. It also covers creating and innovating new knowledge and practices for agricultural value chain management and identifying solutions to agribusiness management problems in the agro-industry.

The programme is structured into four parts, with a maximum of 540 credit points and a total 384 MBKs credit load. Each part carries 120 credit points, with courses organised by semesters. Part III includes Industrial Attachment across two semesters. Part IV includes courses such as Research Project in both semesters, alongside agribusiness, entrepreneurship, and agribusiness value chain topics.

To be admitted to the programme a prospective student must have:

• Advanced Level passes in at least two Commercial and/or Science subjects
• Articulation as provided by the ZNQF.
• Recognition criteria for foreign credentials of international students
• A prospective student may be admitted on special entry or through Accreditation of Prior Learning route or Mature entry in accordance with the University’s General Academic Regulations.
