Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Development Studies

The Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Development Studies at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University prepares students to study development topics across governance and institutions, gender, rural development, development economics, development planning, public policy, urban development, development finance, and research methods. Core modules include Introduction to Development Studies, Governance and Development, Rural Development, Multilateral Institutions and Development, Development Economics, Development Planning, and Development Finance.

Learning is organised into semesters with computer and communication skills support through Introduction to Computers and Communication Skills. Students also complete Work Related Learning across both semesters, with a Work Related Learning Report, an Academic Supervisor's Report, and an Employer's Assessment Report. In the final stage, the programme includes an Environmental Change and Development module and a Research Project.
