• Normal Entry: To register for the Bachelor of Social Sciences Honours in Industrial Sociology and Labour Studies, a candidate must satisfy the minimum entry requirements for undergraduate degrees as stipulated in the University registration rules. English Language at O’ Level is a compulsory subject and should normally have been obtained with a minimum grade “C”. In addition to the above, admission to the programme of study requires at least two A’ level passes or equivalent university entry qualifications in the applicant’s country of origin.
• Special Entry: Notwithstanding the above, candidates with 5 O’ Level passes including English Language with a minimum “C” grade and a relevant Diploma in Education, Social Work, Human Resources, Development Studies, Tourism and Hospitality and any other diploma in an approved field from a recognized and accredited institution may be granted admission to the first year of the programme.
