The Master of Public Health (MPH) at Africa University is a postgraduate programme in public health. It is designed to train university graduates to contribute to the improvement of community health through participation in public health programmes in public and private sectors, and in those supported by nongovernmental organizations.
The programme has a duration of 3 year(s) and runs as full time at the Main Campus. It uses course work across public health fundamentals, including principles, health policy, applied biostatistics, applied epidemiology, health systems management, health promotion, environmental health, and occupational health, plus research-led modules such as research methods, a research proposal, dissertation research and writing, and field attachment report.
