Master of Science Degree in Food Security and Sustainable Agricultural Policy

The Master of Science Degree in Food Security and Sustainable Agricultural Policy at Bindura University of Science Education focuses on food security and sustainable agricultural policy, supported through work within the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. Academic inputs connect to the Department of Natural Resources, the Environmental Science Department, the Crop Science Department, the Animal Science Department, and the Department of Agriculture Economics, Education and Extension.

Students are also supported by the Centre of Excellence in Agroecology, Food Security and Climate Change (CEAFSCC). Graduates can move into roles including consultants; policy analysts and project managers for international organisations; positions in banks; government departments and national agencies; non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and research institutes; academia; commercial companies across the world; and various organs of the United Nations, including the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).

At least five ‘O’ Levels inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.

An Honour’s Bachelor’s Degree Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant working experience with a pass will also be considered.
