Master of Science in Banking and Finance Mscbf

The Zimbabwe Open University offers a Master of Science in Banking and Finance that is a two-year programme leading to an academic qualification. The curriculum includes a supervised dissertation and 16 courses. Students study core areas such as Financial Markets and Regulations, Financial Economics, Bank Operations and Strategy, Financial Econometrics, Cyber Security and Regulation, and Applied Research Methods.

The programme is divided into two years, with each year comprising two semesters. Students normally take a minimum of four (4) or five (5) courses per semester. A minimum of 378 credit points is required to meet the Master of Science in Banking and Finance requirements, and course offerings include case studies and practical skills.

To be admitted to the programme, a candidate must have satisfied the minimum conditions for entry to degree studies at the Zimbabwe Open niversity as prescribed under the entry requirements in the General Academic Regulations for Masters degrees and must have obtained a minimum of first degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Accounting or their equivalents.
