Introduction

Regent College offers the Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies (GradDipCS), a flexible graduate program designed to deepen understanding of Scripture and Christian teaching. Students complete required courses that create a foundation for theological thought and choose electives to focus on topics and questions they want to explore, including free electives.

The program uses a credit-hour structure. Students complete 24 credit hours in total, including 12 free electives and 12 credits selected from the Foundational Core courses. Regent College describes study options as online learning plus onsite study, with full course load set as 2 terms and part-time as unlimited time to complete.

Regent College says students typically take a sabbatical, want to deepen understanding of faith without a master’s degree for their vocation, or want to test the waters of theological study before committing to a full master’s degree.
