The Bachelor de Lunetier Créateur at Ecole Supérieure d'Optique trains students for work in the creation, design, and product development side of eyewear. Students learn how the creator role covers all steps of designing a frame, from the initial idea to a prototype. The course combines design, product culture, innovation, and mastery of technical constraints to develop skills for imagining, designing, and presenting collections of glasses.

Teaching is delivered in person. The program lasts 1 year with full-time study, with an intake in September. It includes 600 hours of learning and ends with final-year project presentations, including creating an original frame with a dossier and a prototype, an original concept store with dossier and 3D visit or model, and creating glasses for the class sponsor. The program also includes a final-cycle internship of 8 weeks with an eyewear creator, a manufacturer, or a design office.

The program is aimed at students who want to add a creative specialization to their optician profile, at the intersection of design, craftsmanship, and industry. It supports work on real projects using a designer approach, and it leads to roles that combine optics and design, such as artisan lunetier, opticien créateur, product designer, and product developer.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor de Lunetier Créateur at Ecole Supérieure d'Optique for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
