Master's in Biomedical Sciences
Introduction
Biomedical Sciences is a Masters program taught at Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen, Germany. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years) options.
The Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen offers the Master’s programme Biomedical Sciences. Students deepen knowledge from a life sciences Bachelor and study molecular causes of diseases, including genetics, immunology, and cell biology. The programme also includes topics such as protein analytics and pharmacy, plus a choice-based module offering in an elective area.
Teaching combines lectures and practice. The course includes lab practicals and applied research projects at the Hochschule, in companies, or in research institutions. Students work on their own application-oriented research projects in interdisciplinary teams, with examples such as assays for drug screening and bio-compatibility, and test procedures for diagnostics and analytics.
The programme aims to prepare students for direct entry into research or industry careers and for doctoral studies (Promotion) in the Life Sciences. The faculty also links teaching closely with practice through work with university groups, research institutions, companies, and the Life Sciences network BioLago.

Admission Requirements
