Bachelor's in Mediendesign

Mediendesign is a Bachelor program taught at IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH, Germany. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (180 ECTS) options.

IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH offers the Bachelor-Fernstudium Mediendesign (B.A.). Students study foundations of visual design, including typography, design forms, and digital composition. The degree also covers interactive media, including 3D content, with modules such as Human-Computer Interaction, Gestaltung und Ergonomie von User Interfaces, Interaktionsgestaltung, and Mobile Media Design.

The program is delivered as a Fernstudium with interaktive Online-Lehrveranstaltungen and an Online-Campus. Students complete 24/7 online examinations in full-time or part-time. The course includes portfolio courses without face-to-face sessions and portfolio projects that follow an iterative design process with deliverables such as scribbles, digital drafts, and a final product.

After graduation, IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH lists roles including Motion Designer:in, Mobile User Interface Designer:in, and Ausstellungsdesigner:in.
