Introduction

Physician Assistant is a Bachelor program taught at IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH, Germany. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (180 ECTS) options.

IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH offers the Bachelor Fernstudium Physician Assistant (B.Sc.) with 180 ECTS. The study programme builds knowledge in physics, chemistry, molecular biology, anatomy, physiology and pathology. It also includes clinical medicine topics such as diagnosis and therapy methods, metabolism, immunology, pharmacology and toxicology, medical technology, radiation medicine, neurology and psychiatry, plus surgery topics like OP teaching, preparation and organisation and special diagnostics.

Learning is delivered as a Fernstudium with time- and location-independent study and interactive online teaching. The programme uses online campus learning tools and 24/7 online examinations, and it includes a Medical Skills Lab with case-based training and workshops. Six practice projects are completed with practice partners, with guidance from a specialist doctor. Assessment includes modules and a Bachelorarbeit.
