Internationality is supported through the option of an internship abroad. It is designed for people who work as teachers in training and further education in Pflege, Logopädie, or Physiotherapie and who want to train junior staff in health and care professions.

Successful completion of the Bachelor’s programme Gesundheit und Pflege with the elective/major area Pädagogik at KH Mainz or a comparable degree (recommended final grade of at least 2,0).
Completed 3-year vocational training in Physiotherapy, Pflege, or Logopädie.
Required language level: C1 (for applicants from abroad, a certified proof is required).
The degree programme’s teaching is conducted in German.
Admission requirements also include: successful completion of the Bachelor’s programme Gesundheit und Pflege with Wahlpflichtbereich Pädagogik at KH Mainz or a comparable degree. If modules from the Wahlpflichtbereich Pädagogik are not available, they can be completed over two semesters. In justified exceptional cases, a special application for shortening the process can be submitted; this is connected with a review of contents and competencies through a subject discussion.
