Introduction

Mathematik is a Bachelor program taught at Universität Erfurt, Germany. Intake: Wintersemester. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (6 Semester) options.

The Bachelor-Studiengang Mathematik at Universität Erfurt builds a subject foundation in mathematics for students studying mathematics with a Nebenfach or in teacher education with Unterrichtsfach Mathematik. Students cover different sub-disciplines starting with Arithmetik und Algebra, Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung und Statistik, and Geometrie, then develop further study content through the phases of the program.

The Nebenfach mathematics includes an Orientierungsphase (O-Phase) and a Qualifizierungsphase (Q-Phase). The Q-Phase ends in the Hauptfach with the creation of the Bachelor-Arbeit. The program is offered in Voll- und Teilzeit and teaches in German.

It also supports study options outside teaching, including for Nebenfach Mathematik in other fields such as Staatswissenschaften, Wirtschaftswissenschaft, Psychologie and Philosophie.
