Sonder- und Integrationspädagogik

Sonder- und Integrationspädagogik is a Masters program taught at Universität Erfurt, Germany. Intake: Wintersemester. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 Semester) options.

The Universität Erfurt offers the Master-Studiengang Sonder- und Integrationspädagogik. The program prepares students to support people with disabilities and disadvantages outside of school professionally. Students focus on conditions of disability and disadvantage, designing and supporting teaching and learning processes, and accompanying, advising, and promoting individual educational and developmental processes across different life phases.

Students choose two of four funding focuses: emotion and social development, intellectual development, learning, and language & communication. The master program has a standard duration of four semesters and includes Pflichtmodule such as a mentored special education placement, research approaches, leadership and management, special education psychology, social pedagogy, and “Planen, Fördern, Evaluieren”, plus an Abschlussmodul and two Wahlpflichtmodule.

The program leads to a Master of Arts (M. A.). The university describes career fields that include professional support for people with disabilities and disadvantages, leadership roles in special and social educational institutions, and work in settings such as residential care, supported living, or early intervention.

The minimum requirements for admission in Sonder- und Integrationspädagogik at Universität Erfurt for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Universität Erfurt.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Universität Erfurt as pre-requiste for admission in Sonder- und Integrationspädagogik.
