Bachelor's in Germanistik

Germanistik is a Bachelor program taught at Universität Erfurt, Germany. Intake: Winter. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (6 semesters (regular study time)) options.

Universität Erfurt offers a Bachelor-Studiengang Germanistik (Deutsch Studium). In the program, you investigate the German language and German-language literature using scientific methods. The studies are organized into Sprachwissenschaft, with topics such as how language works and how it changes, and Literaturwissenschaft, with topics such as text analysis, interpretation, and literary theories.

The Bachelor is built as a Zwei-Fach-Bachelor with a Hauptfach and a Nebenfach. The program structure includes an Orientierungsphase (1.–2. Semester) and a Qualifizierungsphase (3.–6. Semester) in the main subject, ending with an Abschlussmodul with a Bachelor-Arbeit. Study starts in the Wintersemester, and the study form is Voll- und Teilzeit.
