Bachelor's in Lehr-, Lern- und Trainingspsychologie

Lehr-, Lern- und Trainingspsychologie at Universität Erfurt is a Bachelor of Science program focused on how people learn, how teaching and learning processes work, what influences them, and how to design them in practice. Students build on classical areas including Allgemeine Psychologie, Bildungspsychologie, Differentielle Psychologie, Entwicklungspsychologie, and Sozialpsychologie. They also study applied psychology for school, education and training, training, and personnel development, with a focus on diagnosis, communication, and teaching/learning processes.

The program is structured as a two-subject Bachelor with a main subject and a minor subject, totaling 180 Leistungspunkte overall. The main subject includes an Orientierungsphase (O-Phase) and a Qualifizierungsphase (Q-Phase). Students complete Pflichtmodule such as Statistik in der Psychologie and Psychologische Diagnostik I and II, plus an Empiriepraktikum and a Berufsfeldmodul – Praktikum. The Q-Phase ends with an Abschlussmodul for the Bachelor-Arbeit. Studying as a minor subject follows the same phase structure with Pflichtmodule and Wahlpflichtmodule.

Students can choose Lehr-, Lern- und Trainingspsychologie as either the main subject or the minor subject. In the main subject, Universität Erfurt awards the Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.). In the minor subject, Universität Erfurt awards the Bachelor of Arts (B. A.). The program is designed for non-clinical work and is not stated as qualifying for clinical-psychological activities or for training toward the Approbationsprüfung Psychotherapie.
