Introduction

Technik is a Bachelor program taught at Universität Erfurt, Germany. Intake: Winter. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (6 semesters) options.

Bachelor-Studiengang Technik at Universität Erfurt is a two-subject Bachelor with a Hauptfach and a Nebenfach. In the Hauptfach Technik, the programme covers technical and economic topics focused on stoff-, energie- and informationsverarbeitende Systeme. You study areas such as development and construction, production and manufacturing, energy and supply, and information and communication. You also take economics and law content through Hauptfach and Nebenfach.

Teaching is structured in an Orientierungsphase and a Qualifizierungsphase. The Orientierungsphase includes Informatik, Technische Kommunikation, and introductory courses in business and economics. The Qualifizierungsphase includes Energietechnik, Elektrotechnik, Fertigungstechnik, Konstruktionstechnik, Programmierung, Steuerungs- und Regelungstechnik, and Arbeitsschutz – Werkzeuge und Maschinen, plus elective modules. The Q-Phase in the Hauptfach ends with a Bachelor-Arbeit.
