Sportmanagement

Sportmanagement is a Bachelor program taught at Universität Potsdam, Germany. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Sportmanagement at Universität Potsdam is a Bachelor of Arts in an Ein-Fach-Bachelor format. The programme teaches methods and subject knowledge for work in the management of non-profit and for-profit sport and health organizations. It combines theory-led, task-based management teaching with sport, health, and leisure sector context, and adds sport-practical content aligned to sport-management work.

The degree is structured modularly and covers sport management, sport science, and the theory and practice of sport types. It totals 180 Leistungspunkte and includes Pflichtmodule, Wahl- and Wahlpflichtmodule, plus Schlüsselqualifikationen. The programme uses interactive teaching and learning forms and case studies to connect theory and practice.
