MSC Interactive Media Technology 1

The MSc Interactive Media Technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology provides skills and knowledge in designing, developing, and evaluating interactive products and media. You explore topics related to human-computer interaction, user experience, and sonic and visual media.

The programme is two years (120 ECTS credits) and is given in English. You take mandatory courses in research methods, foundations in media technology and interaction design, and human perception, then choose elective courses from areas such as user experience, sound and music computing, interaction design, or user-centred software development.

You complete a degree project during the final semester in an academic or industrial environment. KTH engages with industry through study visits, guest lectures, and dissertation projects.
