Introduction
Electrical and Computer Engineering is a Bachelor program taught at Antioch University - Seattle, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Electrical and Computer Engineering prepares cadets to become electrical and computer engineers. The curriculum includes core courses that apply physics, mathematics, and computer science, including electrical circuit and systems analysis, computer systems and architecture, programming, robotics, and signal processing. Students then choose advanced coursework through either the Computer Engineering Track or the Electrical Engineering Track, which includes topics such as AI, data structures, autonomous system integration, digital signal processing, antenna theory and design, embedded systems, power electronics, and communications systems.
The ECE curriculum culminates in a two-semester capstone design course. Seniors work on a team to design an electronic or computer system that meets the needs of a real customer. The program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering.
Graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The major also opens the door to Air Force career paths, including pilot, intelligence, cyber operations, civil engineer, and developmental engineering assignments.
