Bachelor's in Linguistics minor
Introduction
Linguistics minor is a Bachelor program taught at Colgate University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Linguistics Minor at Colgate University requires five courses chosen with guidance from the advisory committee and/or the director. The plan includes one course from Linguistics Foundations (courses with the LILF attribute) and three or four additional electives (courses with the LIEL attribute). Courses can be taken in any sequence.
For the foundations course, students must take at least one of: CORE S140 - Language and Cognition, LING 200 - Science of Language Acquisition, or LING 222 - The Theories and Practice of Second Language. Electives may include a mix of courses from the Other Courses list, or advanced language courses (with the LIAL attribute).
