Bachelor's in Chemistry

Chemistry is a Bachelor program taught at Defiance College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Chemistry minor at Defiance College supports students who want a general curriculum while preparing for graduate school or professional work in science. Students build understanding of elemental properties, chemical reactions, and the fundamentals of organic chemistry and biochemistry, with an emphasis on laboratory techniques and data analysis skills.

The program includes substantial laboratory work and supports learning outcomes such as explaining how inorganic chemical properties connect to organic chemistry and biochemistry. Students execute experiments using appropriate laboratory safety protocols, implement the scientific method to test hypotheses, gather and analyze data, and explain chemistry’s relevance to other science disciplines, technology, and industries.

The minimum requirements for admission in Chemistry at Defiance College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Defiance College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Defiance College as pre-requiste for admission in Chemistry.
