Introduction
Education: Primary PK-5 is a Bachelor program taught at Defiance College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
Primary PK-5 Education at Defiance College prepares students to become effective teachers. The curriculum combines theoretical and applied learning in teaching and prepares majors for the roles they take in their classrooms. Students use developmentally-appropriate practices to engage students in reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, and science.
Students complete multiple and varied clinical experiences during each year of the program, beginning as early as the first semester. The education faculty’s objective is to prepare students through both learning experiences and repeated clinical practice across the program.
