Music Education
Introduction
Music Education is a Bachelor program taught at Heidelberg College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Music Education program at Heidelberg College prepares students for teaching in public and private schools. Students complete a major that enables K-12 certification in choral, instrumental, and general music, with the option for a dual emphasis using two instruments. Training covers music teaching areas, with a choice of instrumental, strings, piano/organ, or vocal emphasis.
Students spend time in real classrooms early and often, including 7 out of 8 semesters, with field experience in schools. The program also includes continual mentoring from experienced music faculty.
