Accounting
Introduction
Accounting is a program taught at Kenai Peninsula College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Accounting at Kenai Peninsula College focuses on using numbers and interpreting spreadsheets to make sense of business information. The subject covers how accounting helps determine how a business is doing and the “bottom line.” Students study accounting as the language and basic tool of business, with an emphasis on understanding business performance.
KPC does not offer a degree in accounting. Instead, KPC campuses offer courses that lead to partial completion of the University of Alaska Anchorage AAS Accounting degree, and that degree can be completed online. Students work with an academic advisor on course selection and sequencing to stay on track.
