Nursing
Introduction
Nursing is a program taught at Kenai Peninsula College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (minimum of two years of full-time study) options.
The Nursing program at Kenai Peninsula College offers the UAA AAS nursing degree and prepares graduates to provide direct nursing care to individuals in inpatient settings and structured outpatient settings. Students complete a closely related mix of theory and clinical practice, and they gain clinical experience in hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics.
Admission is competitive because qualified students compete for a limited number of seats at both campuses. The School of Nursing uses a well-defined ranking system, and students with the highest rank are offered available seats.
