Introduction

Politics is a Bachelor program taught at Occidental College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Politics program at Occidental College is a politics major focused on how people govern themselves, build communities, and influence systems. Course themes include democracy, rights, and political identity, plus comparative and American politics, international relations, law, and political theory.

Politics majors can collaborate with faculty on original research, or take part in opportunities such as Campaign Semester, where students work full-time on a political campaign while earning course credit. The department also supports student internships and research through awards such as the Anderson, Reath, McKelvey, and Caldwell fellowships and awards.
