Business Management For Manufacturing (Certificate/Diploma)
Introduction
Business Management For Manufacturing (Certificate/Diploma) is a Diploma program taught at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Business Management for Manufacturing (Certificate/Diploma) is a program for Penn Highlands Community College that is offered in partnership with Johnstown Welding and Fabrication Industries. It is designed to help JWFI employees build leadership, management, and process improvement skills, with learning that connects to the work they do every day. The program uses two tracks: a Certificate Track and a Diploma Track.
The Certificate Track provides core leadership, management, and process improvement skills and includes 21 credits. The Diploma Track builds on the certificate coursework and adds articulated credit from an apprenticeship, combining classroom learning with the hands-on skills earned on the job. Credits and apprenticeship training can be applied toward a Business Management for Manufacturing certificate, then toward a Penn Highlands diploma.
After completing a certificate, students may apply eligible credits toward a Penn Highlands diploma. Students may also apply earned coursework and apprenticeship credits toward an Associate of Applied Science in Entrepreneurship. JWFI employees interested in the opportunity should contact JWFI Human Resources for coordination with Penn Highlands Admissions.
