Introduction

Biology is a Bachelor program taught at Stonehill College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Stonehill College’s Biology program prepares students for life sciences graduate programs and professional programs in medical, allied health, and environmental fields. It also prepares graduates for direct entry into the workforce. Students can choose an undergraduate Biology Major (B.S. or B.A.) or a Biology Minor, and the degree structure supports different paths such as entrance into medical or graduate schools, professional study, teaching at the primary or secondary level, and employment connected to biology-related industries.

The Biology program includes classroom learning augmented by meaningful research experiences, and students are encouraged to strengthen career preparation by completing an internship, directed study, or a research project before graduation. Biology minors select courses with guidance from a Biology minor advisor or another department advisor. Study takes place on campus at an 89,000-square-foot science center with equipment normally only available to graduate students.
