Bachelor's in Chemical Physics
Introduction
Chemical Physics is a Bachelor program taught at Susquehanna University, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
Chemical Physics at Susquehanna University combines chemistry and physics through advanced theoretical concepts, applied sciences, and interdisciplinary research. Students study topics including general chemistry, organic chemistry, calculus, linear algebra, and introductory calculus-based physics, then move into physical chemistry and quantum chemistry and spectroscopy. The program includes an individual Research Experience in chemistry or biochemistry and a capstone in Problems in Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Learning emphasizes small-size classes with a heavy emphasis on project development. Students work with faculty as early as the first year, and research with faculty is conducted by chemical physics students by their junior year. Students develop communication skills through oral presentations, conference posters, and co-authored, peer-reviewed publications, alongside hands-on, interactive coursework.
