Introduction

Criminal Justice is a Bachelor program taught at Susquehanna University, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Criminal Justice major at Susquehanna University helps you understand criminal behavior and how society responds to criminal acts. It combines criminal justice topics with history, civics, law, the Constitution, ethics, and logic, plus public policy, sociology, and psychology. The major supports work skills such as analyzing arguments, researching criminal behavior patterns, and addressing social injustices including racial and socioeconomic biases.

Coursework follows a structured pathway across four years, with required introductory courses and options to choose program electives.

You study the three components of the U.S. criminal justice system through courses such as Introduction to Criminal Justice and later develop research and constitutional law knowledge through courses including Research Methods I and Constitutional Law.

The Adams Center for Law & Society hosts visiting legal scholars and an extensive library, and Adams Center scholars can receive paid internship opportunities with hands-on experience involving local attorneys, judges, and probation offices.
