Europe Erasmus MARIHE Scholarship

MARIHE describes a full-time, on-site master's programme of 120 ECTS to be completed in four semesters. The consortium states that students share the same mobility path in the first year (University for Continuing Education Krems in Austria, then Tampere University in Finland). The coordinating institution is the University for Continuing Education Krems.

According to the curriculum, students undertake an internship (10 ECTS) worldwide in the third semester and then follow a specialization in Asia at either Beijing Normal University (China) or Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (India), and a European specialization at one of five partners: University for Continuing Education Krems (Austria), Tampere University (Finland), Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Eötvös Loránd University/ELTE (Hungary), or University of Aveiro (Portugal).

The curriculum distributes modules across semesters: Orientation (30 ECTS) in Krems, Foundation (30 ECTS) in Tampere, Internship and Specializations (25 ECTS total for specialization modules) across partner institutions, and a Master’s Thesis (25 ECTS) completed at one of the specialization hosts in Europe or Asia. The consortium decides the final allocation to specialization hosts.
