Paris-Saclay University Scholarships

Université Paris-Saclay offers an International Master’s Scholarships Program as part of its internationalization strategy for its master’s programs. The scholarships are for outstanding international students to facilitate access to its courses, particularly those wishing to pursue a PhD.

Eligibility is for students of foreign nationality who meet cumulative criteria including first-time enrolment in France, admission to a qualifying master’s degree at Université Paris-Saclay operated by specified institutions, and being under 30 years of age during the year of application. All academic fields are eligible, and all master’s programs are eligible except vocational programs (“formations en apprentissage”). Both M1 and M2 are eligible.

Candidates are selected by course coordinators after application and admission to the master’s program before the set scholarship deadline. Selected students receive an email with a link to an online application form; references may be requested to submit recommendations online. Complete applications are then evaluated by a scholarship jury of experts from Graduate Schools of Université Paris-Saclay based on academic background, personal project, and (for M2 candidates) motivation for a PhD at Université Paris-Saclay.

The international master’s scholarship is 10,000 EUR per year and is paid monthly by Université Paris-Saclay for the academic year from September to June. The amount is reduced during months abroad (compulsory international mobility or delocalized master’s programs) or during internships outside Université Paris-Saclay affiliated labs. It automatically renews for a second year for M1 laureates admitted to M2 upon completion of required credits. Laureates also receive a yearly flat fee of up to 900 EUR for travel and visa costs, paid only after arrival in France and registration in the admitted program.

• Students of foreign nationality meeting the following cumulative criteria are eligible to apply.Admission in a master’s degree of Université Paris-Saclay operated by one of the following institutions: AgroParisTech, CentraleSupélec, ENS Paris-Saclay, INSTN-CEA, IOGS, Université Évry Paris-Saclay, Université Paris-Saclay, UVSQ.First-time enrolment in France (students who have never been registered in a French Higher Education Institution – except exchange programs, Erasmus Mundus joint master’s degrees without a French degree, internships and language programs).Under 30 years of age during the year of application.Not receiving any other funding above 600 euros per month. The international master’s scholarship cannot be cumulated with France Excellence Eiffel or France Excellence Europa scholarships, neither with Erasmus Mundus scholarships.Eligible programs: All academic fields are eligible.Eligible programs: All master’s programs of Université Paris-Saclay are eligible except vocational programs (“formations en apprentissage”).Level of studies: Both M1 (first year of master’s) and M2 (second year of master’s) are eligible.

• International master’s scholarship: 10,000 euros per year, paid monthly by Université Paris-Saclay for the entire duration of the academic year from September to June.Monthly amount is reduced during months spent abroad (compulsory international mobility, delocalized master’s programs) or during internships undertaken outside of Université Paris-Saclay affiliated labs.Yearly flat fee of up to 900 euros supporting travel and visa costs; amount depends on the country of origin of the candidate.Scholarship and travel expenses are provided only upon arrival in France and once the laureate has registered in the admitted program; no advance payment can be made.Support for administrative procedures and for the search of accommodation (reservation of accommodation cannot be guaranteed and it is the laureate’s responsibility to anticipate the search for housing).

Apply to a master’s degree at Université Paris-Saclay before the set deadline for the international scholarship program (late applications cannot be accepted; only students who have applied and have been admitted before the set deadline can be selected by course coordinators).After selection by course coordinators, selected students receive an email with a link to the online application form. If applicable, provide the name and contact details of two references (course coordinator, professor, internship supervisor, etc.) who can recommend the application.References invited by email complete their recommendation online before the set deadline; candidates receive confirmation of receipt of the recommendation but do not access the recommendation itself.Complete applications are evaluated by the scholarship jury composed of experts from Graduate Schools of Université Paris-Saclay; applicants are informed by email of the jury decision. Email applications cannot be accepted.
