The Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) is a German public university of applied sciences located in Ingolstadt, Bavaria. It was founded in 1994 as Fachhochschule Ingolstadt. It has been renamed to its current name in 2013. It still keeps its status as a Fachhochschule/HaW. Being one of the leading and prominent universities of applied sciences in the state of Bavaria, it was awarded a temporary and limited right to grant doctorates in 2023 despite not having the status of a research university.
