Corvinus University of Budapest Hungary EKÖP Fellowship

The EKÖP Fellowship is a University Research Fellowship (EKÖP). The draft of the call for University Research Fellowships (EKÖP) was approved by the NRDI. Applicants use a mandatory Corvinus supervisor linked to their research topic when preparing their application.

The call for applications is open for categories including undergraduate studies, Master’s programmes, doctoral studies, and young lecturers/researchers, with scholarship amounts stated per study level. The call does not exclude support for students who have applied for admission but have not yet started their training, or for young lecturers and researchers who are not in a legal position when they apply.

Applicants submit application documents to the thematic e-mail address for their category and receive formal checking for required annexes, legibility, signatures, and certified translations when relevant documentation is in a language other than Hungarian or English. The page states the scholarship amounts per month for each category, but it does not describe the selection criteria or evaluation process.

• Applicants must find and work with a CORVINUS Supervisor related to their research topic for their research idea/plan (mandatory for bachelor and master courses).
• Eligible categories under the 2025/2026 EKÖP Call for Proposals are: undergraduate studies; Master’s programme; doctoral studies; young lecturers, researchers.
• The call does not exclude support for students who have applied for admission but have not yet started their training.
• The call does not exclude support for young lecturers and researchers who are not in a legal position when they apply.

• Undergraduate studies: HUF 125,000 per month.
• Master’s programme: HUF 150,000 per month.
• Doctoral studies: HUF 180,000 per month.
• Young lecturers, Researchers: HUF 200,000 per month.
• Support durations shown in the call categories: 5 months; 10 months; 12 months.

1. Identify a CORVINUS Supervisor mandatory for bachelor and master courses, related to your research topic, to discuss your research idea/plan.
2. Prepare the application dossier using the documents described for the call, without modifying the application forms (rewriting, modifying, or deleting questions is not accepted).
3. Send requests for information and correspondence relating to proposals to [email protected].
4. Submit the application documents described in point 12 of the call for application to the thematic e-mail address for your category (documents are accepted electronically in PDF format), no later than 04 June 2025 – 23:59.
