Master of Public Health

The Manipal University Master of Public Health (MPH) is a postgraduate programme that equips students to address public health challenges. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications across five specialisations: Non-Communicable Diseases and Occupational Health, Maternal Child Health and Nutrition, Global Health policy, and One Health, plus a capstone project or thesis.

The MPH is delivered as a two-year full-time programme with a semester-based curriculum. Students gain practical experience through internships and field placements in public health organisations and through community-based projects. The programme also includes a Global Health Symposium, hosted in collaboration with Maastricht University and McMaster University.

• Pass with a bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably health sciences) from a UGC-recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government of India, with minimum of 55% aggregate marks (or equivalent).
• Candidates are expected to complete all the academic requirements (classes, examinations, and other assessments) of their bachelor's degree on or before July 31 of the year of admission. Provisional certificates must be submitted at the time of admission to the programme.
• Selection of eligible candidates will be based on merit and personal interview.
• Alternatively, candidates can submit a PGCUET 2026 scorecard.
