The Bachelor of Pharmacy is a four-year professional undergraduate degree focused on dispensing practice and clinical pharmacy. The curriculum includes pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, and related fields. Students participate in clinical externship rotations to gain practical experience and develop critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and research skills. The program combines taught modules, practical work, clinical externship/clerkship, internship, and a research project. It prepares graduates to function as pharmacy practitioners and pursue further education or research in the pharmaceutical industry.
5 CSEC/GCE O-Level passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and 1 other approved subject, preferably a Science-related subject, PLUS A-level or CAPE Units 1 & 2 passes in Chemistry and Biology and one (1) other subject, preferably Zoology, Mathematics or Physics. Applicants successful at the interview will need to take a psychometric test before acceptance can be considered.
