Bachelor of Science in Construction Management

The Bachelor of Science in Construction Management (Post Diploma) builds on prior diploma studies in related fields to provide advanced knowledge in construction technology, materials, financial management, human resources, and team building. The course covers aspects of design, project management, services engineering, and road construction principles, with a focus on organizational behavior, environmental impact assessment, and decision making in construction management. Research is emphasized to enhance understanding of both technical and human aspects for improved performance in construction. Students study core courses including civil engineering technology, construction technology, services engineering, management principles and practice, professional practice, financial management, project finance and analysis, and research methods. The programme aims to prepare students for higher managerial roles within the construction industry.
