The Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition is a four-year full-time program delivered over eight semesters totaling 141 credit hours. It aims to develop competent dietetics and nutrition professionals who can work within health care teams.
The program combines lectures, tutorials, labs, group projects, presentations, and field visits to encourage experiential and student-centred learning. It also prepares graduates for supervisory and quality assurance roles and for advanced study.
Graduates can apply for internships or postgraduate programs, provide nutritional care and education, communicate effectively using modern technology, and manage food service operations. Completion requires a work experience practicum at an approved site. An internship is needed to practice as a Dietitian.
