The Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Technology provides knowledge and practical skills in dosage form design, formulation, manufacture, quality assurance, and regulatory activities. Courses focus on pharmaceutical products that meet safety, effectiveness, and quality control standards. The program is full-time, includes taught and practical modules, an industrial internship, and a research project. Specializations cover cosmetic development and good manufacturing practices. Delivery is blended, combining theoretical learning with hands-on training.
5 CSEC/GCE O-Level passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and 1 other subject, preferably a Technical or science-related subject (Physics would be an asset). PLUS A-level or CAPE Units 1 & 2 passes in Chemistry and 1 other subject, preferably Mathematics or Physics. A foreign language would be an asset.
