Bachelor of Arts Ba in Design

The Bachelor of Arts in Design at the American University of Kuwait focuses on graphic design, teaching the relationship between type, image, and visual organization based on design history, theory, and cultural differences. Students must formally declare the major by completing 60 credit hours and submitting a declaration request. To major in graphic design, students must complete 9 credit hours of prerequisites: ART 120, ART 121, and GDES 110.

If TOEFL, IELTS, or Accuplacer scores do not meet ENGL 101 requirements, students must take ENGL 100: Foundations in Academic Reading and Writing (4 credits).
