Bachelor of Arts Ba in International Relations

The Bachelor of Arts in International Relations covers diverse theories and perspectives in international politics. It includes core courses introducing major themes and debates, field concentration courses across diplomacy and conflict resolution, international law and organizations, and international political economy. Students study through coursework, case studies, presentations, internships, and exams. The degree requires a minimum of 120 credit hours, including 27 upper-level credits in the major, with at least 30 upper-level credits completed at AUK. Students select a field concentration with three courses in three areas such as Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution, International Law and Organizations, and International Political Economy. The program also includes electives and a capstone course, aiming to develop research, critical thinking, and communication skills in international contexts. Graduates can communicate decisions as leaders at national, regional, and international levels.
