Bachelor of Engineering Be in Electrical Engineering

The Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering covers principles of engineering, science, and mathematics to solve complex engineering problems. Students study core courses in digital logic design, microprocessors, electric circuits, electronics, electromagnetics, power systems, control systems, and engineering economics. The program requires completion of general education, related fields including mathematics, science, computer science, and management, as well as major courses with core and elective options. The program requires 134 credit hours including 30 upper-level courses. Students select electives with guidance from an academic advisor and may focus on tracks like Power and Energy Systems or Electronics and Telecommunication Systems. A double major option in Electrical and Computer Engineering is available with additional credit requirements and integrated capstone projects.

Admission to the program occurs after successful completion of MATH 110 with grade of C-. Transfer equivalencies from ABET accredited or equivalent programs are considered. Transfer from non-accredited programs accepted for non-major prefixes.
